My client, who were established over 50years ago, are a manufacturing and supply company of PVCu and aluminium windows, doors and conservatories to the domestic and commercial market place.
They are now seeking a Logistics/QM for their company.
You will have full responsibility for all aspects of logistics and warehouse operations, from goods inwards, to storage and goods out.
Therefore your responsibilities will include the following:-
• Management of a small team of 3-4 personnel, which will include development, motivation and training.
• Keeping up to date records of all stock, when it came in, where it is stored, condition and when issued
• Liaison both internally and with external suppliers
• Dealing with problems and issues
• Annual and half yearly stock checks
• Other ad hoc duties
This role would suit someone from a QM (tech) background, who is able to lead a small team of individuals and who is able to “muck in” where necessary
