A Senior Geotechnical Engineer is urgently required on a CONTRACT basis to join one of the world's leading engineering consultancies. Joininig on an initial 6 month contract, there is the view to extend to 12 months or the possibility of becoming permanent if wished. It is expected that you will take a lead role in the production of a GIR (Geotechnical Interpretive Report) for a major highways scheme, therefore it is essential that you have previous experience working as a Geotechnical Engineer on major highways schemes. You will be responsible for the plannning and programming of task, as well as defining resource requirements. You MUST have excellent aural and written communictaion skills in English, whilst it is highly advantageous if you have French speaking abilities.
