Civil Engineer / Structural Engineer - Construction

A global Power Generation company is currently looking for several Civil / Structural Engineers to work in the Swindon, Wiltshire area. The company are specialists in Civil Infrastructure, Structural Engineering, Foundations and Construction Management.

For this position the company are ideally looking for Chartered or someone working towards Chartership with a good knowledge of major project developments and infrastructure services. You will be providing technical advice and working with contractors and consultants to achieve cost effective solutions. As part of the role you should also be willing to take ownership of solutions to ensure satisfactory implementation and you must have several years experience in roles where you have been leading major projects.

All candidates should have good experience and knowledge of several of the following:

Highways, Water Supply & Drainage, Building Services, Demolition, Foundations, Safety Management, Building Structures, Marine Works, Geotechnics and Small Hydro.

In this position you will be primarily based in Swindon and be associated with UK assets, however there will be occasional requirements to undertake short term assignments on site and overseas. A full UK driving licence is also essential.
