My client is a medium sized main contractor based in the Hertfordshire area. They are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to come on board and take over projects up to the value of £2million. This is a fabulous opportunity for the successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor as they offer a management training scheme with the possibility to progress within the company at a rapid pace.
Remuneration:
£30,000 per annum plus benefits

The client:
My client was established over 100 years ago and since those early days have worked on many prestigious projects, they are mainly focused on new-build & refurbishment projects in the sectors of residential, education and leisure, particularly hotels. Due to continued growth they have a need for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor.
The role:
My client is looking for an Assistant level Quantity Surveyor to takeover an existing project worth £2million which consists of a Veterinary Practice with a 7 story apartment block on top based in the Hertfordshire area. The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be expected to take control of this particular project by themselves with minimum supervision.
Requirements:
Ideally 2+ years Quantity Surveying experience
Main Contractor background
New build or refurbishment project experience is essential
Ability to work with minimal supervision
