Civil Engineer / Asset Engineer

up to £33k + car

A large Civil Engineering organisation is currently looking for a Civil / Structural Engineer to be an active member of the team with responsibility for a number of assets for the local business unit which could be Bridges, Locks, Culverts, and Embankments etc.

The ideal candidate should be a graduate Civil Engineer or similar discipline and ideally working towards becoming professionally qualified (the organisation have an approved ICE approved training scheme which will be supported for the suitable candidate).
As part of your job role you will be a key player in risk management of the company assets and you will carry out inspections, assessments and feasibility studies coming up with engineering solutions. Other areas will see you provide technical support to the Engineering department and be involved in the maintenance, repair, conservation and protection of the condition of the assets.

For this role it is essential to have a full driving licence as you will be undertaking site inspections.
