Civil Engineering Project Engineer - Waste Management
Salary of up to £35k + Car allowance + Benefits.
West Midlands

A rapidly expanding Environmental Solutions / Waste Management company, is looking for a Qualified Civil Engineering Project Engineer to join its Projects Team to be responsible for the development of Waste Management Infrastructure Projects based in the West Midlands.

The successful candidate will manage and control engineering and development projects to agreed brief including time, budget, quality and health and safety objectives. You will also provide engineering, construction supervision and project management resource around the UK and manage the design and construction of Energy from Waste plants (or Waste to Energy), Mechanical Biological Treatment (MBT) facilities, Material Recovery Facilities (MRF), compost facilities, transfer stations, transport depots and Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC) projects.

You will ideally possess a good all-round technical understanding of construction, process engineering and/or logistics whilst being a strong team player with a high level of Technical / Engineering knowledge and have the ability to work under pressure on a variety of projects on time, at cost and to specification. The successful candidate will have be degree qualified in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil Engineering or equivalent with a strong project engineering background in the power industry. You will be self motivated with a flexible attitude to work and able to work to tight deadlines under pressure. This role requires the development of close working relationship with operational staff, contractors and consultants and mobility across the Country as projects arise.

A excellent salary and benefits package are on offer to the successful applicant, which includes an attractive salary of up to £35k+ benefits including Company Car allowance and Company Pension whilst being based in the West Midlands offices.
