Commercial Manager – £25 million Framework Agreement
A prestigious Civil Engineering Main Contractor requires the services of a Commercial Manager to work on a number of station refurbishment projects in the Enfield area.
Location:
Enfield
Remuneration:
£55,000 - £70,000 per annum plus benefits
Company car or car allowance

My client is a highly successful main contractor whose markets are large and growing. They pride themselves on the support services that they offer within the civils and utilities markets.
The services my client offers begins at the planning stages of a project with consultancy expertise and advice. They follow the project through to testing and results analysis before finally resourcing implementation and feedback.
They have the facilities and passion to succeed, and are in a very strong position to build on their previous achievements to become an even stronger force within their market sector
The job:
As the successful candidate you will assume the role of a Commercial Manager so this is an ideal opportunity for a Senior / Managing Quantity Surveyor who is seeking career progression and development.
Due to a recent change in contract and the hard work and dedication of their employees my clients have won an increasing amount of new work. This has created the need for a Commercial Manager to join an existing team in my clients Enfield office
My client's competitors are the likes of Balfour Beatty, Laing O'Rourke and Costain. They are currently undertaking £Millions worth of work refurbishing and building high profile railway stations. This role does not entail any actual rail work and is more to do with the civils aspects of building. Other projects include bridges, drainage, embankments, utilities/water, car parks, ticket offices and platforms to name a few.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years experience at senior level
RICS preferred, not essential
QS Degree
Experience of NEC contracts
Experience of managing a team
Rail experience not essential
Prefer a dynamic individual who can work at a fast pace – perhaps someone with a utilities background!
Mix of Contractor and Consultant background preferred, not essential.
