We are looking to develop a group who, with guidance, will assess and support reliability and availability of plant and equipment on Mature Assets (Tern, Eider, Cormorant South and Cormorant North). These positions are predominately offshore based and are likely to work on a rotation basis with a period of offshore rota work for a year followed by a 3 month period in the office before reverting back to offshore. Activities will include carrying out assessments on unreliable plant and equipment and using simple tools to help the offshore work force deliver improved availability. These roles would particularly suit candidates from plant operations, production or process background. Oil and gas experience is not essential but individuals need to be quick to learn, talented, able to demonstrate achievement in their career to date and keen to progress in a complex working environment. The role will require well developed inter personal skills. Reliability Engineers are the individuals who are expected to introduce innovation into our Duty Holder operations, they are expected to challenge and enhance the way that we implement operations and maintenance activities offshore. Preference will be given to high potential applicants with excellent academic qualifications such as individuals approaching chartered engineering status but strong consideration will also be given to individuals with a proven track record in operations and maintenance. Candidates should be looking for a career in the oil and gas industry and be enthusiastic about the opportunity to work offshore. All candidates must be able to demonstrate achievement, responsibility and progression in their career. Salaries will depend on experience and capability but is likely to be in the range of £45 to 55k PA. Also provided will be an offshore allowance and onshore accommodation when required.
