Applications Engineer c£35,000 Motion Control Systems Home Counties Our client is a UK and European market leader supplying motion control products, systems and complete solutions for positioning and automation too many of the UK?s OEM?s in the packaging, converting and assembly machinery sectors. Right now they are looking to recruit an Applications Engineer. The ideal candidate will be someone who has some experience of Motion Control, however they are willing to train an individual who has good Automation Control experience and equip them with the necessary skills to fulfil this role. The role would suit a semi-skilled or higher person, who must be able to write bespoke application code from scratch using an IEC 61131 programming environment together with any HMI related software packages. It would be a distinct advantage to have FieldBus experience such as CANopen / DeviceNet / EtherNet / Profibus/RS485 as well has having AutoCAD experience. The individual must be prepared to visit their Germany headquarters for a minimum of 1 month but ideally 3 months to undergo a product training plan to become familiar with their range of products.
