A leader in the Marine Manufacturing sector require an experienced Design Engineer to Lead and Support the Design Team in meeting Customer Specifications. Based in Havant your role will primarily provide a link between the customer/client and the Design Team in order to convey Specifications or design Modifications on a Technical Level in order to meet project requirements.
You will be suitably qualified in Mechanical Design Engineering, preferably with a background in the Marine Industry. Your main responsibility will be to provide a controlling function for all technical support activities between the Design Team and the Sales and Support Team throughout each phase of the project. This will include the review of Technical Specifications at both the Project Proposals stage and Project Hand Over stage. You will be responsible for checking and challenging the technical content and completeness of Design Information and the Solutions Processed from Design Modifications. You will also be key in allocating tasks to the design team and ensuring their timely completion.
This is an exciting opportunity for an Experience Design Engineer to take a step up towards management and work an ever expanding company who design Market Leading, Innovative Marine Technology. Based in Havant, Hampshire the role attracts a salary of around £28K + an excellent benefits package.
