A leading manufacturer and importer of quality food products operating from 12 UK sites and employing over 3000 people are currently looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to strengthen their existing maintenance department. The successful candidate will be responsible for working a continental shift pattern (4 on 4 off, days and nights, rotating 12 hour shifts) whilst maintaining all on-site food manufacturing equipment. You will be mechanically biased with a good knowledge of electrical engineering and a maintenance background within a fast moving production environment. You will also have PLC fault finding skills preferably on Siemens and/or Telemecanique controlled machinery. In return you can expect a salary of £28,500 plus benefits which include a contributory pension scheme, BUPA (Medical & Dental) and Life Assurance as well as the opportunity to further develop your career.
