Position: Test & Commissioning Engineer Discipline: Electrical / Mechanical Industry: Machine Tool, Robotics Area: West Midlands Salary: £27500 + O/Time (£35-40k ote) Technical: PLC, Electrical, Mechanical Ref: DM9014 An exciting opportunity has arisen for a competant test and commissioning engineer to join this award winning machine tool and robotic systems integrator. Highly regarded as a total solutions provider for the friction welding industry this high profile client offers excellent career opportunities and a structured development plan. The right candidate will be a multi-skilled engineer having experience with automated PLC systems, drive systems and both mechanical and electrical machinery applications. You will be responsible for the installation, service and site repairs on various applications Worldwide so flexibility to travel is a pre-requisite. This position will involve client liason and considerable organisation skills so engineers with proven projects experience and man management capabilities will be shown preference. Training will be provided however an appreciation of PLC fault finding, machine tool controls and service / repairs work on complex production and CNC machinery is essential.
