My client is one of the world's largest and most diverse management and construction companies. A top UK Multi disciplined Company which includes a Main Contracting and Consultancy arm is looking to appoint an Assistant Quantity Surveyor / Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to work on a variety of construction projects within their Main Contractor department
Remuneration for the Quantity Surveyor:
£28,000 - £32,000 per annum plus benefits
Benefits include: company car/car allowance, pension and health care

The job:
The successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor / Intermediate Quantity Surveyor will be assigned to a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Managing Quantity Surveyor to work on a variety of new build, extension and refurbishment projects. Projects include schools, offices, libraries, nurseries and many more.
One of their clients is Hertfordshire County Council which is their main source of public sector projects, however my client also deals with a number of retail stores, banks and building societies. Projects are valued from £100,000 - £15million

Due to a recent influx of work my client feels they are stretching their current resources in the Hertfordshire office, thus they are looking to appoint an Assistant Quantity Surveyor / Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to help with the work load.
Client’s requirements for the successful quantity surveyor:
Ideally the successful Quantity Surveyor will have 4+ years Quantity Surveying experience
Main Contractor background
Construction project experience is desirable
