Role:
My client requires an Intermediate/Senior Quantity Surveyor within their Aviation Group, potentially delivering Commercial, Contractual and Strategic advice at Southampton Airport or elsewhere within the company.

The successful candidate will be working on a variety of projects, including buildings/refurbishment/baggage and possible infrastructure. This role is ideally suited to an individual who is highly motivated and can work using their initiative.

You will be liaising with the existing Senior Quantity Surveyor running your own projects as well as providing support and assistance on a variety of projects at Southampton.

Responsibilities:
• Providing pre and post contract Quantity Surveying and Cost Management services, undertaking own projects and providing support to other members of the team
• Assist in preparation of financial reports and final accounts
• Auditing of Contractors’ accounts
• Preparation of monthly payment certificates and assistance with financial reporting and final accounts
• Forming part of team undertaking assurance and innovation audits of multi-disciplined delivery teams.

Experience:
• Experience of infrastructure asset management, preferably within the Aviation Sector
• Experience of the NEC forms of Contract option C
• Experience of Target Cost contracts
• 5+ years UK Quantity Surveying experience
• Consultancy background
