Our client are considered one of the world's leading engineering consultancies when it comes to providing detailed geotechnical design solutions. With offices across the UK, they are continuing their expansion and are actively looking to recruit a Geotechnical Engineer who can join the West Midlands team. Minimum 8 years experience preferably with transportation and heavy civils experience. Good grounding in a variety of types of projects with sound analytical skills. Knowledgeable on current construction practice and design standards that apply. Project management skills and experience leading a small team essential. Specialist knowledge in particular FE analysis, Seismic Design ,Pavement Engineering or Tunneling would be an advantage. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: MEng or good civil engineering based BSc, and preferably MSc in appropriate subject. Chartered status. Second language would be an advantage (ideally French).
