The Position:
My client is one of the world’s leading construction cost consultant practices, and has been established for over a century.
They provide Project Management and Quantity Surveying services for blue chip clients in property development, education and health care, and are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join them on in their Mechanical & Electrical team in Southampton
The successful candidate will work in a team of 4 on a variety of projects including Supermarket frameworks, Local Authority work (Schools, Fire Stations, GP Surgeries), Commercial, and Property Development - New Build and Refurbishment
My client wants
• Consultancy or contractor background
• Mechanical experience is absolutely essential
• MRICS is a big advantage
• Client facing skills is an advantage
• BSc is essential in Quantity Surveying or a related subject
• Background as a Cost engineer or Quantity Surveyor
• 7-9 years experience but not limited too
