Assistant Planning Engineer- Birmingham

Our client, one of the largest Construction/Civils contractors in the UK seek an assistant planning engineer project planner with Civils/Construction Engineering experience to work from their Birmingham office.

Our client has a turnover of more than £1.25 billion and create, operate and maintain amenities and infrastructure for both the public and private sectors, including hospitals, schools, utilities and commercial and industrial production facilities.

You will provide planning and programming input for construction projects at prequalification, tender and contract stage. You will be assisting in the development of construction methodology and in the preparation of programmes, method statements, drawings.

Desired experiences applicants will require:

- Construction Related degree
- Relevant site experience
- Good knowledge of building, civil engineering or general construction methodology.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to absorb information quickly and demonstrate clarity in development and presentation of innovative solutions
- Experience of software (Power project and Microsoft Project) would be an advantage but not essential.
