We need a Graduate Transport Planner WITH COMMERCIAL EXPERIENCE to work under a Principal Engineer to progress transport impact assessments in support of infrastructure designs for a mixed range of projects including residential, commercial and industrial.

This role will cover various aspects of transport planning such as feasibility studies, transport assessments / appraisals, traffic modelling, data collection and analysis, transport policy, strategy development, and preliminary design of transport schemes. You should have practical experience of the above, having spent time working for either a private consultancy or local authority on transport planning schemes.

You must have the ability to write reports and have experience with contributing to transport assessments. You will ideally be a self starter, competent with AutoCAD and familiar with transportation software such as ARCADY, PICADY, LINSIG, TRANSYT etc.

You will be a graduate with a first degree in Civil Engineering, Geography, Town Planning or similar (and related) and ideally will have a further MSc in Transportation Planning.
