As an experienced Chartered Town Planner, the post-holder will take responsibility for providing a professional focus for the development of the Planning, Policy and Economics business in the Midlands: in particular work will focus on the ability to negotiate planning consents and guide the masterplanning of major site development / regeneration. Other areas of work will include regional and local planning policy development. The post holder will already be working at a senior level and will have the potential to progress to Associate subject to satisfactory performance. The post holder will be expected to project manage multiple jobs and take responsibility for their delivery to deadline. The post-holder will lead bids and submissions for assignments, and be successful in winning work and developing client relationships. It is expected that the successful candidate will help develop the planning, policy and economics business in the Midlands, working closely with the business leaders and professional team in London and the regional offices.
