Working in close partnership with our clients, project managers and technical specialists, you will be responsible for the delivery of consultancy services on a wide range of projects covering transport technology, operations and ITS. You will deliver high quality, traffic operations and technology consultancy services. You will develop, build and maintain close relationships with our clients, understanding their needs and requirements and turning their ideas into workable solutions which provide real benefit to road users. You will develop new concepts, strategies and approaches for managing the movement of people, goods and traffic. You will support others in the delivery of these goals. You will identify and assess a variety of options, ranging from new operational procedures and methods of working to new types of technology, considering the drivers and constraints of the modern transport environment. You will liaise with project stakeholders, gaining feedback and securing support for the solutions you develop on behalf of your clients. You will communicate your ideas powerfully and convincingly, through a variety of media including reports and presentations. You will maintain close client relationships, ensuring that project objectives are met or exceeded. You will have experience in the provision of consultancy services, the generation of ideas and strategies and the analysis and resolution of problems. Your experience will have preferably been gained in the transportation arena. Degree qualified, or with equivalent experience, you will have good organisational and interpersonal skills together with a logical and pragmatic approach to problem resolution and an emphasis on meeting the needs of our clients. You will be results driven, comfortable with team or lone working and be able to work on multiple projects concurrently through effective time management. Salary range: £28K to £40K pa Paid overtime dependent upon grade 24 Days Annual Leave plus additional day for every 5 years service and the ability to buy up to 5 days of additional leave.
